1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using YouLikeImg ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use.
2. Description of Service
YouLikeImg provides free, browser-based image processing tools including but not limited to: image compression, resizing, cropping, format conversion, rotation, watermarking, merging, PDF conversion, and meme generation. All processing is performed server-side. No account or registration is required.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:
- Upload, process, or distribute images that are illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringe on intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to overload, hack, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated scripts or bots to submit excessive requests.
- Upload malicious files disguised as images.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all images you upload to the Service. By uploading images, you grant YouLikeImg a temporary, limited license to process those images solely for the purpose of providing the requested tool output. This license expires when your files are deleted (within 1 hour of upload). We do not claim any ownership over your content.
5. File Limits & Fair Use
- Maximum file size: 20 MB per file
- Maximum files per batch: 20 files
- Uploaded and processed files are automatically deleted within 1 hour
- We reserve the right to impose additional rate limits to ensure fair access for all users
6. Intellectual Property
The YouLikeImg name, logo, website design, and source code are the intellectual property of YouLikeImg. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any part of the Service without express written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that processed files will meet your specific requirements. Use the Service at your own risk. Always keep backups of important original files before processing.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YouLikeImg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to your device.
9. Availability & Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Third-Party Advertising
The Service may display third-party advertisements provided by Google AdSense. These advertisements are governed by Google's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
